Travel & Stay
Ravello sits high above the Amalfi Coast. There is no airport on the coast itself; most guests fly into Naples or Rome and continue by car or train.
Direct flights from most European cities and seasonal nonstops from New York (JFK and Newark). From the airport, a private transfer to Ravello takes about 90 minutes. We will share a recommended driver closer to the date.
The widest choice of nonstop flights from the US. From Fiumicino, take the Leonardo Express or a taxi to Roma Termini, then a high-speed train (Frecciarossa or Italo) to Salerno in about 2 hours. From Salerno station it is a 45-minute drive to Ravello. Driving the whole way from Rome takes about 3 hours 30 minutes.
The coast road is narrow and winding; a private driver is the most comfortable option and can be booked from Naples airport or Salerno station. Rental cars are possible but parking in Ravello is limited. All of the hotels listed are within a short walk of the Caruso.
